# Full Time Tax Consultant

Deloitte Tax is looking for highly-motivated individuals to join their team as a Full-Time Tax Consultant. As a Tax Consultant, you will be responsible for researching tax law, defending tax positions in controversy, preparing business and individual federal and state income and other tax returns and forms, and more. ## Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have a JD degree and the ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment. Bar exam eligibility before beginning full-time employment is also required. An undergraduate degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field is preferred but not required. You must also have the ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. In addition, you must have the ability to perform job responsibilities within in a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2 – 3 days per week. The start date for this position will be in Fall 2024.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $51,520 to $99,600.
