SUMMARY:

Salary: $117,000 - $187,000 based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to identify and address systemic environmental problems and policies affecting low-income and communities of color

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to community-centered environmental and racial justice advocacy
- Significant litigation experience in environmental and/or civil rights law
- Management, supervisory, and/or leadership experience in nonprofit or public sector legal/advocacy programs
- Excellent writing, analytic, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
- Attorney in good standing and licensed to practice law in New York or eligible for admission within one year

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse coalitions and planning and executing comprehensive campaigns
- Experience with policy and/or administrative advocacy
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental statutes
- Proficiency in Spanish or other languages spoken by client communities

Salary and benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $117,000 - $187,000 based on experience
