Job Overview:

The Product Liability And Mass Torts Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling product liability cases and mass tort litigation. The ideal candidate should possess 4-6 years of commercial litigation and/or product liability experience, with a preference for those who have worked for companies in these industries.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to product liability and mass tort cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on product liability issues.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Iowa State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• 4-6 years of experience in commercial litigation and/or product liability.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and evidence rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
