Senior Associate - National Tax Services Exempt Organizations

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join our National Tax Services Exempt Organizations team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of tax-exempt organizations, providing valuable insights and assisting them in implementing successful tax strategies in response to legislative, federal, and judicial tax developments. You will also have the chance to work with various cultural and religious organizations, as well as healthcare entities, colleges and universities, foundations, and supporting organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to tax-exempt organizations, including not-for-profit healthcare, higher education, international clients, private foundations, public charities, for-profit corporate, partnerships, and individual issues.
• Use SAS or an equivalent statistical software package to conduct a broad range of tax-related economic, statistical, and modeling services.
• Conduct statistical analyses (regression, survival analysis, and time series analysis) and provide statistical consulting services across various industries.
• Demonstrate technical skills in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations, including working with various forms such as 990, 990 PF, 1120, 1065, and 1040.
• Research business and industry trends to develop a point of view that can be leveraged in proposals and opportunities across multiple lines of service.
• Innovate through new and existing technologies and experiment with digitization solutions.
• Work with large, complex data sets to build models and utilize data visualization tools.
• Review contracts and find opportunities to introduce new pricing options.
• Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or taxation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting.
• Juris Doctorate preferred.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Exempt Organization tax issues and compliance.
• Experience with programming in SAS or an equivalent statistical software package.
• Strong technical skills in tax compliance and consulting for not-for-profit organizations.
• Ability to conduct statistical analyses and provide statistical consulting services.
• Understanding of various forms such as 990, 990 PF, 1120, 1065, and 1040.
• Knowledge of business and industry trends.
• Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
• Familiarity with pricing, client value, and the negotiation process.
• Strong ethics and business conduct.
