Job Title: Associate Attorney
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on First-Party Property, General Liability or similar area required

Overview:

- Seeking motivated First-Party Property Defense Litigation Attorney for New Orleans office
- Responsible for managing high-volume caseload of complex litigation cases
- Work closely with experienced Partner to discuss litigation strategy and provide excellent service to clients
- Opportunity to play integral part in growing office

Responsibilities:

- Manage complex litigation cases from inception through trial or settlement
- Conduct legal research and provide guidance to clients
- Draft legal documents and handle court appearances
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Stay current on relevant legal developments

Required Education and Experience:

- Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school
- Admission to bar in state of position
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with focus on First-Party Property, General Liability or similar area required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage high-volume caseload
- Experience with alternative dispute resolution methods a plus
