Overview:

- Seeking a Staff Attorney to provide civil legal representation, advocacy, and outreach to low-income individuals in Conway, Greenville, Greenwood, and Orangeburg.

Responsibilities:

- Provide civil legal representation to low-income individuals in a variety of areas, including housing, consumer, education, federal income tax, elder, employment, family law, housing, probate, and public benefits.
- Conduct outreach and advocacy efforts to educate and assist low-income individuals in accessing legal services.
- Maintain a caseload and handle all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and appearing in court.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and legal developments in priority areas of law.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
