Northeast New Jersey Legal Services (NNJLS) is a non-profit public interest law firm providing free legal services to low-income, senior and disabled residents of Hudson, Bergen and Passaic Counties, New Jersey. ## Job Description
NNJLS is seeking an experienced Education Law Attorney to provide legal assistance to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable members of society. This is a full-time position with the ability to work a hybrid schedule. The attorney will provide representation in a wide variety of Education Law matters, including educational placement and discipline matters, school registration (residency, homeless issues), transportation (homeless students, special education related service), special education (classifications, evaluations, appropriate placements, IEP reviews), discipline matters (suspensions, expulsions), disability accommodations (§504 accommodations), and bullying.

## Qualifications
. Prior Legal Services experience or a demonstrated commitment to legal assistance for the disadvantaged is a plus. Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish is a plus. Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills are required.

## Salary and Benefits
NNJLS provides an attractive salary starting at $73,000 commensurate with experience, and a generous fringe benefits package including but not limited to, comprehensive health/dental/life insurance, and 401(a) and 403(b) retirement plans.
