In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Office of Regulatory Relations and advising businesses and corporate functions in all aspects of BNY Mellon's regulatory and supervisory relationships, with a focus on distributed ledger technology (DLT) and digital assets. You will also be responsible for identifying emerging supervisory trends, monitoring regulatory policy developments, and driving proactive internal regulatory strategy and external communications.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the Office of Regulatory Relations and advising on regulatory and supervisory relationships, with a focus on DLT and digital assets
- Identifying emerging supervisory trends and advising on supervisory expectations
- Monitoring and analyzing regulatory policy developments, rulemakings, and consultations
- Partnering with business and corporate functions to identify regulatory and policy priorities and develop company positions
- Preparing speakers and materials for supervisory and regulatory interactions

To be successful in this role, we are seeking candidates with 3-7 years of legal experience at a federal banking or regulatory agency, law firm, trade association, or large financial institution. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the financial services industry and . banking agencies, as well as a strong understanding of DLT and digital assets. Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and organizational skills are essential for this role, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
