Job Title: Member-Level Healthcare Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Member-Level Healthcare Attorney to join their national team. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in regulatory law and a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic legal environment.

Job Details:

  • Provide legal counsel to healthcare providers on a wide range of issues, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, fraud and abuse, licensing, reimbursement, and transactional matters.
  • Draft and negotiate professional service agreements, joint venture agreements, business associate agreements, and other healthcare-related contracts.
  • Serve on healthcare M&A deal teams, assisting with due diligence, regulatory review, and drafting transaction documents.
  • Develop and implement corporate compliance programs and HIPAA compliance programs for healthcare providers.
  • Must be a self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ideal candidates will have a portable book of business.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state of Maryland.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on healthcare regulation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in providing legal counsel to healthcare providers.
  • Proven track record of drafting and negotiating complex healthcare agreements.
  • Experience with healthcare M&A transactions and due diligence processes.
  • Strong understanding of corporate compliance and HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
