Position Summary

- Seeking a Senior Tax Consultant with a strong understanding of partnership allocation methodologies, Subchapter K, and real estate fund tax compliance process.

Work You'll Do

- Work with an engagement team to provide tax compliance and consulting services to investment management clients.
- Identify complex tax issues and provide tax analysis for various entities and their affiliates.
- Responsibilities include performing detail-level reviews, preparing materials and research, and coordinating with client contacts.

Qualifications

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- 3+ years experience in tax planning or preparing tax returns and work papers.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or other certifications.
- Basic understanding of Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and real estate fund tax compliance process.
- Experience in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served.

Preferred:

- Advanced degree (Masters of Tax, JD, LLM).
- Experience in virtual and/or global environments.
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions.
- Experience with ASC740.
- Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
