The Legal Assistant - Insurance Defense, at company, will handle complex tasks to ensure the success of our law offices. The ideal candidate will have prior litigation experience and a strong understanding of legal terminology. The role will involve providing administrative support to our attorneys by preparing legal documents and correspondences, managing calendars, coordinating examinations, and communicating with clients. This is a remote position with potential for travel to an office for meetings or training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to attorneys by preparing legal documents and correspondences
- Manage attorney calendars and coordinate examinations for defense experts
- Communicate with clients and maintain confidential information
- Maintain files, answer phone calls, and handle administrative duties as needed
- Propound discovery and serve client discovery
- Use electronic case management system to manage tasks and deadlines

Qualifications:

- High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher
- Two years of prior legal work experience in a business or legal environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Typing skills with attention to grammar and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in insurance defense or personal injury
- Familiarity with electronic case management systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills

Compensation:
