Job Overview: The Senior Attorney will be crucial in providing legal expertise, managing cases, and representing clients in civil litigation matters. They will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients, colleagues, and third parties, producing high-quality work products, and meeting deadlines while adhering to firm policies and practices.

Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
  • Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience with civil litigation in state and federal courts.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and appearing in court is preferred.
  • Candidates with experience handling multi-district litigation are a plus.
  • Trial experience is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Maryland State Bar or eligibility for admission by motion.

Skills:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
