Corporate/Commercial/Transactional Attorney

A Law Firm is looking for a to join its corporate and transactional team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in corporate and transactional law and will be based in either the Virginia Beach, Chesapeake or Suffolk offices.

Responsibilities:
• Handle corporate transactions for business clients
• Provide high-quality legal advice to clients
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents
• Analyze legal issues and provide timely advice
• Represent the firm in court and legal proceedings
• Provide legal advice and support to colleagues
• Resolve disputes and provide advice on dispute resolution

Qualifications:
• Virginia Bar license
• 5+ years of experience in corporate and transactional law
• Strong academic and professional credentials
• Excellent research and writing skills
• A desire to become part of a client-focused team
