The candidate will primarily focus on handling litigation matters and providing coverage advice/monitoring for professional liability and general liability cases. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, gain significant responsibility, and contribute to high-stakes legal matters.

 

Duties:

  • Handle litigation matters related to professional liability and general liability cases.
  • Provide coverage advice and monitor insurance matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance-related issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assist in client meetings, depositions, and court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Prior government or DOJ experience with a focus on financial matters is a plus.
  • Excellent academic credentials and professional references.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction (Washington, DC preferred).
