Introducing the Commercial Finance Associate position at Ballard Spahr LLP - a national law firm with over 600 lawyers and 15 offices nationwide. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified candidate with three to five years of experience to join our industry-leading commercial finance practice. We represent a diverse range of institutional clients across the country, including commercial banks, finance companies, private equity firms, investors, and non-profits. This position is available in three locations - Philadelphia, Minneapolis, or Sioux Falls - offering a wide range of options for candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Work on complex commercial finance transactions representing lenders and borrowers
- Have a strong understanding of Article 9 of the UCC and bankruptcy code
- Handle all phases of commercial finance transactions
- Experience with workouts/restructuring, M&A, and private equity transactions is a plus

Qualifications:
- Three to five years of experience in commercial finance
- Strong transactional background
- Excellent academic credentials
- Active bar license in PA, MN, or SD is preferred
