The position involves growing litigation skills in all stages of IP litigation, from pre-filing investigations through appeals. The candidate should excel in conducting pre-suit due diligence investigations, managing complex discovery, engaging in discovery negotiations, handling motions and hearings, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, and motions, as well as pre- and post-trial briefings and appellate briefs. A strong academic record, exceptional organizational abilities, and outstanding communication and writing skills are essential.

Duties:

  • Conduct pre-suit due diligence investigations
  • Manage complex discovery processes
  • Engage in discovery negotiations
  • Handle motions and hearings
  • Take and defend depositions
  • Draft pleadings, motions, pre- and post-trial briefings, and appellate briefs

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Intellectual Property Litigation
  • Undergraduate degree or advanced degree in a technological or scientific field (preferred)
