The Trademark Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling various aspects of trademark law, including clearance, prosecution, counseling, licensing, and enforcement. Duties:

  • Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide opinions on trademark availability.
  • Prepare and prosecute trademark applications before the USPTO and foreign trademark offices.
  • Counsel clients on trademark matters, including portfolio management, licensing, and enforcement strategies.
  • Draft and negotiate trademark licensing agreements.
  • Assist with trademark enforcement efforts, including cease and desist letters and trademark opposition proceedings.
  • Manage domestic and global trademark portfolios for clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in good standing.
  • 4-6 years of experience with various aspects of trademark law.
  • Demonstrated command for domestic and global portfolio management.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
