Job Description:
- Seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join Zendesk's growing legal team
- Support M&A function and Integrations Management Office
- Make a lasting impact on strategic transactions program at a high-growth private equity backed company
- Reports to Director, Corporate and Securities
- Remote eligible with preference for San Francisco Bay Area candidates

Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic transaction processes
- Act as key point of contact for legal matters for the Integrations Management Office
- Build effective team with Integrations Management Office to drive successful integrations
- Advise business leaders on legal risks and propose business oriented solutions
- Lead and coordinate multiple business teams on key corporate and legal decisions
- Support pre-closing transaction duties, including negotiations and diligence
- Lead integration project management efforts on behalf of Legal team
- Assist Corporate Legal team on other corporate matters
- Own special projects as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
- 7+ years corporate and M&A experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing of US state bar
- Strong organization and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities
- Strong business acumen and ability to provide actionable legal guidance
- Experience maintaining corporate records
- Collaborative and upbeat work ethic
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels
- Upholds highest standards of discretion and confidentiality
- Appreciation for impact of a satisfied team and enjoys working across time zones and cultures
- Curiosity, technical savvy, and passion for working in a customer-focused company
- Willingness to work on tasks of all sizes with integrity and tact
