Duties:

  • Handle all facets of domestic and international trademark counseling
  • Participate in trademark, copyright, patent, and trade secrets litigation
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on intellectual property matters
  • Assist with client development and business generation activities

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of focused experience in a national trademark practice
  • Significant experience in trademark counseling and litigation
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Copyright litigation, Patent litigation, Trademark litigation, Trade secrets litigation
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Exceptional academic record from a reputable law school
  • Admission in good standing with the Minnesota Bar or eligibility for admission as soon as practicable

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Minnesota Bar or eligibility for admission
