Tamarac office of our client seeks a junior immigration attorney with 1-3 years of experience. The candidate will be reporting to the Managing Attorney. Will train and supervise staff. Collaborating with Paralegals, Managing Attorneys, and support staff. Meet with clients, coordinate case and legal strategy, and manage an independent caseload. Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines. Experience in preparing USCIS petition packages for review and filling. Prepare and revise court documents, draft support letters, and other documents /communications. Conduct legal research and write motions, briefs, and memoranda. Keep abreast of legislative changes in Immigration Law. Keeping clients apprised of the progress of their cases. Handle court hearings and trials. Help the firm?s clients gather necessary information/documents for filing. Track client communications and government correspondence. Use Case Management software. Additional administrative duties may include answering phones, scheduling appointments, generating invoices, and filing, among others. Must have a . degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member of the Bar in good standing.
