Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Lead review, drafting, and negotiation of legal documents and agreements
- Conduct due diligence and support review of materials for M&A and investment opportunities
- Supervise outside counsel and manage legal costs
- Coordinate and contribute to integration of newly acquired businesses
- Design and implement new processes and procedures for team efficiency
- Provide clear and concise legal counsel with a business focus
- Analyze complex legal issues with attention to detail

Essential Functions:
- Work on global M&A transactions and investments for Visa
- Collaborate with internal clients and other legal and compliance team members
- Help develop and implement new processes and procedures for team efficiency

Qualifications:
Basic:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8+ years with an Advanced Degree
- Admitted to practice law in the United States in good standing

Preferred:
- Experience at an international law firm with a focus on M&A
- Experience with buying/selling companies in multiple . jurisdictions
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Passion for excellence and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong judgment and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Experience with regulatory transactions and/or the payments/technology industries a plus
- Open to occasional travel
