Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to digital health startups and founder-led companies.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters related to healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital raises.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents relevant to digital health ventures.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and developments in digital health technology and regulatory landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal issues and achieve business objectives.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar.
  • 3-7 years of experience in healthcare law, focusing on regulatory compliance and advising on the corporate practice of medicine.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology's impact on healthcare and a commitment to leveraging technology to drive innovation in the industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience working with startups or emerging growth companies preferred.
