# Senior Fellow Program at Conservation Law Foundation Conservation Law Foundation (CLF) is dedicated to protecting New England’s environment for all people and has established a Senior Fellows Program to harness the capacity of mid- and late-career lawyers and other professionals. Senior Fellows provide flexible, part-time volunteer opportunities to gain valuable pro bono experience and nonprofit contacts while contributing meaningfully to the organization’s mission. ## Benefits of Being a Senior Fellow Being a Senior Fellow at CLF offers a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on environmental protection and conservation in New England. Senior Fellows are asked to make an initial one-year volunteer commitment of at least 10 to 20 hours per week, and many continue their involvement with CLF after the first year. Senior Fellows come from a variety of professional backgrounds and are selected and assigned to projects based on their interests and relevant expertise, and CLF’s needs. Current areas of desired expertise include general litigation, energy law, environmental science and/or compliance, marine science, GIS and spatial analysis, and library and information science. ## Requirements to Become a Senior Fellow Senior Fellows at CLF are volunteers and therefore, no salary is provided. Candidates should be mid- or late-career professionals and have the ability to commit to a minimum of 10 to 20 hours per week for a minimum of one year. ## COVID-19 Vaccination Policy CLF considers the health and safety of its staff members and their families, our guests, our visitors, and the community at large to be a top priority.
