Responsibilities:
- Oversee and work with support staff in drafting and reviewing all documentation necessary for judicial mortgage foreclosure in Vermont
- Handle related matters such as debt disputes and defense to counterclaim
- Responsible for all stages of foreclosure process from demand to recording of foreclosure deeds
- Attend and argue motions and hearings, as well as mediation sessions related to foreclosure proceedings
- Provide legal counsel to foreclosure clients throughout the process

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree
- Admission to the bar in Vermont (admission in other New England states a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and ability to multitask and prioritize
- Understanding of dealing with large and complex clients
- Ability to work in a team environment and with senior levels of management
- Organizational skills and ability to improve processes
- Positive attitude and ability to effectively communicate with employees and external contacts
