New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a lending/not-for-profit mid-level associate with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate must have extensive experience representing institutional and non-institutional lenders in sophisticated loan transactions, including equipment & transportation, real estate lending, ABL, syndications, Mezz loans and unsecured credit facilities secured by Real Estate. Must have experience structuring and negotiating business combinations and transactions, including familiarity with not-for-profit corporate matters and transactions. Experience preparing due diligence checklists and reviewing due diligence items, including entity formalism and governance documents, is required. Experience with SBA lending is a plus. Must have Excellent drafting and negotiating skills, the ability to effectively communicate with clients and counsel in a timely manner, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team when needed.
