Overview:

Elevance Health is seeking a highly qualified Director I Compliance to join their team. This full-time position will involve directing compliance and implementation initiatives and working with multiple stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy, with a minimum of 3 years in a management role. Responsibilities:

- Compare compliance performance to other organizations through benchmarking
- Direct and lead compliance programs with multiple layers, objectives, tasks, and stakeholders
- Assess and report on program/process effectiveness
- Create policies, procedures, and tools needed for daily program function
- Manage and influence resources from matrixed organizations under different leadership
- Develop and lead strategic compliance plans and make recommendations to leadership
- Perform quality oversight of departmental work products/output
- Collaborate with management to set strategic vision
- Travel to worksite and other locations as necessary
- Hire, train, and evaluate performance of direct reports

Requirements:

- BA/BS and minimum of 8 years health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience
- Minimum of 3 years in a management role
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and coach other staff
- MS/MBA/JD or professional designation preferred
