Lead Counsel, Meta Business Group - $167,000/year to $233,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
- Location: Austin, TX Menlo Park, CA Seattle, WA Washington, DC New York, NY Chicago, IL
- Dynamic team player role in the Ad Sales Legal team
- Strategic legal support for Meta's Global Business Group and Small Business Group Americas sales teams
- Development of scalable resources, trainings, and guidance for legal, regulatory, compliance, and policy topics
- Analysis of product terms, policies, and initiatives to provide legal risk mitigation strategies
- Coordination with cross-functional teams to support Sales and advertiser communications and launches
- Partnering with Legal teams across various departments to support business goals and objectives

Minimum Qualifications:
- . degree (or foreign equivalent) and active membership in at least one . state bar
- 5+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney (including at a law firm or in-house experience)
- Knowledge of legal frameworks for data-driven advertising and regulated/restricted goods
- Experience advising on legal and regulatory issues related to online advertising, mobile platforms, social networking, or other technologies
- Ability to manage legal risk across multiple jurisdictions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with mobile application development, software development, machine learning, or other internet technologies
- Prior in-house experience
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
- Experience collaborating with all levels of the business, including executive and C-suite
