Salary Range: $230,000-$240,000 per year

Overview:
Danaher Corporation, a global leader in science and technology, is seeking a Counsel for their Corporate, Securities and Governance department in Washington, DC. Responsibilities:
- Support Danaher's 34 Act reporting and disclosure control obligations
- Assist with the annual meeting process, including proxy statement, shareholder proposals, and D&O questionnaire
- Review Section 16 reports and coordinate with the paralegal for legal issues
- Oversee subsidiary management program and interface with corporate tax department
- Provide legal support for equity compensation program and global equity compliance
- Assist with public offerings of debt and equity
- Manage Form S-8 compliance program
- Support investor relations department and insider trading program
- Assist with onboarding new directors and executive officers

Requirements:
- Keen attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information
- Superior analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with individuals at all levels
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office products

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and JD degrees
- 5 years of experience in corporate, securities, and governance law

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this role is $230,000-$240,000 per year
- This range may be modified in the future
- Bonus/incentive pay may also be available

Location and Relocation:
- Ideally, this role will be located at Danaher's headquarters in Washington, DC
- Remote work may be considered for highly qualified applicants with relocation expected within two years
