# Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney - Iron County Organization Iron County is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. This is a full-time position with a variety of duties and responsibilities. ## Job Description The Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney will have a broad range of duties, including: * Analyzing warrant requests * Conducting pretrial conferences, bench trials, and jury trials * Working with other law enforcement agencies for the drafting of search warrants * Assisting with civil matters * Any other duties as assigned by the Prosecuting Attorney ## Hours & Salary This position is salaried with benefits. Normal office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM; however, evenings and weekends may be required as the work dictates. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, dental, vision, life, retirement and paid time off. ## Requirements Applicants must possess a . degree and be licensed by and in good standing with the Michigan State Bar. A minimum of two years criminal law experience and two years civil/municipal law experience is preferred. On call availability nights and weekends may be required.
