Description:

- Full-time position in the Compliance department at Elevance Health
- Responsible for managing foundational and strategic compliance responsibilities
- Supports team and management in maintaining compliance
- Conducts complex investigations and ensures corrective actions are taken
- Interfaces with external clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders
- Offers a hybrid workplace model with 1-2 days in office per week
- Salary range for this position is $89,460 to $127,800
- Location options include: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington State, and Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee projects, initiatives, audits, risk assessments, and other compliance-related tasks
- Develop project plans, gap analysis, and milestone dates
- Stay updated on laws and regulations and consult with clients as a subject matter expert
- Conduct audits and provide training
- Communicate with external and internal stakeholders
- Conduct complex investigations and document findings
- Ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of experience in healthcare, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Preferred Skills and Experiences:

- Experience with regulatory change management
- Legal training or experience in researching and analyzing federal or state laws
- Familiarity with laws governing the healthcare and insurance industry
- Strong writing skills
- Master's degree, MBA, JD, or professional designation preferred
