State & Local Tax Manager: Minimum 4 years of experience required with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Preferred Master's degree in Taxation or Political Science. CPA, Bar membership, or other relevant tax, technology, or finance credentials may be considered. Up to 20% travel required. Salary information available upon request.

Responsibilities:
- Provide state and local tax services to clients, including planning, compliance, restructuring, and audit defense.
- Stay updated on local tax developments and communicate them to clients.
- Help clients manage their tax burden and identify opportunities for tax savings.
- Develop strategies to stay ahead of changing legislation and administrative policies.
- Lead teams and coach team members for effective and efficient problem solving.
- Analyze complex ideas and make recommendations based on multiple sources of information.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
- Utilize technology and automation to improve tax services.
- Build and maintain client relationships and actively participate in community involvement.
- Communicate value propositions and manage project workflow and budgets.
- Provide timely feedback to team members.
- Develop new relationships and introduce clients to new services.
- Familiarity with CRM system preferred.
- Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies.
