Position Requirements:

- Graduation from an ABA-accredited law school
- Bar admission in the State of California
- Minimum of 11 months of experience as a licensed attorney in general liability, construction law and/or business litigation
- Familiarity with motion practice and depositions
- Experience taking depositions
- Ability to work independently
- Organized and efficient work style
- Strong multitasking skills
- Accurate time management

Job Description:

The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling general litigation cases, with a focus on general liability, construction law, and business litigation. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, excellent research abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow in their role. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and handle general litigation cases, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and attending court hearings
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions
- Communicate with opposing counsel, attend depositions, and participate in settlement negotiations
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and time records
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes for clients

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar admission in the State of California
- Minimum of 11 months of experience as a licensed attorney in general liability, construction law and/or business litigation
- Strong writing and research skills
- Familiarity with motion practice and depositions
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $90,000-130,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) options.
