The ideal candidate will be crucial in handling complex transactional matters, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, while demonstrating expertise in commercial contracts, corporate governance, and securities issues.

Job Duties:

• Conducting legal research and providing analysis on various corporate transactions and securities matters
• Drafting and negotiating agreements related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions
• Advising clients on corporate governance issues and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Reviewing and analyzing commercial contracts to identify potential legal issues and risks
• Collaborating with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop effective legal strategies
• Representing clients in negotiations, meetings, and other legal proceedings as necessary
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting corporate transactions and securities

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• 3-6 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on corporate transactions and securities
• Strong academic record with demonstrated excellence in relevant coursework
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity
• Proven experience in handling complex transactional matters, particularly mergers and acquisitions
• Additional experience in commercial contracts, corporate governance, or securities matters is advantageous
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong work ethic
