As a Business Associate at Foster Garvey, you will have the opportunity to join a highly respected and thriving law firm with a strong focus on corporate law. With a track record of success in a variety of industries, including sports, arts and entertainment, consumer brands/products, hospitality, and technology, Foster Garvey offers a unique opportunity for an entry-level attorney to gain valuable experience and contribute to high-level transactions. This is a full-time position located in either Portland or Spokane, with a salary range of $130,000 to $150,000 per year, based on experience and location.

Responsibilities:

- Work with small and large business clients on sophisticated transactions in a variety of industries
- Learn and practice corporate, commercial, and transactional intellectual property law
- Collaborate with talented attorneys across the firm's six offices
- Contribute to pro bono and public service matters
- Participate in the Opportunity & Progress Council (OPC) to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the firm

Requirements:

- JD from an ABA-accredited law school by June 2024
- License to practice law or scheduled to take the July 2024 bar exam
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical and writing skills
- Client-service approach and exceptional communication skills
- Enthusiasm for working with and building a diverse team
- Ability to manage significant individual responsibilities and handle multiple projects at once
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Responsive and professional service

Compensation and Benefits:
