Job Description:
- Executive Office for . Trustees (EOUST) Law Interns
- Location: Washington, DC
- Must be available to work in-person at the Washington, DC office
- Internship with the Office of the Director (OD) or the Deputy Director for Field Operations (DDFO)
- OD: works directly with the Director or the DDFO
- DDFO: provides executive level direction and guidance to United States Trustees
- Oversees the Office of Oversight (OO) and the Office of Criminal Enforcement (OCE)
- Interns will assist with projects and studies related to consumer and chapter 11 bankruptcy law
- May conduct legal research, provide data analysis, and assist with preparing speeches and presentations
- Field Office Law Interns
- Location: 89 field offices throughout the country
- Assist attorneys with various tasks related to bankruptcy cases
- May be available for academic credit, determined by the individual field office

Qualifications:
- Second- and third-year law students
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Desire to work as part of a small team
- Committed to fairness and integrity in the administration of the bankruptcy system
- Background and interest in bankruptcy, litigation, administrative law, policy, and legislation
