Court Case Manager II Duties: The candidate will be handling a variety of clerical and technical functions including customer service inquiries, providing customers with court forms and directing to resources, case processing, and in-courting for civil cases. Civil case processing duties will include receiving a variety of court forms, reviewing for proper form and completeness, and accepting fees. Will setting up case files, entering computer data, and issuing process in the form of summons, warrants, and orders to show cause. Additional duties include calendaring civil hearings and jury trials as required, preparing vital statistics reports on a monthly basis, reviewing audit reports, and assisting other staff members with duties when needed. In-Courting duties will include preparing the courtroom for hearings, receiving and marking exhibits, maintaining witness lists, calendaring necessary hearings, and preparing and distributing court paperwork. Responsible for keeping accurate log notes and ensuring a clear recording of the hearing is produced. Responsible for drawing juror/grand juror names, swearing in jurors, and maintaining good communication during trials with the jury clerk.
