Job Description:

Baker Tilly is seeking a talented tax professional to specialize in US individual tax services. This is an internal position that provides partnership tax services to Baker Tilly, including tax preparation, planning, and consulting. The ideal candidate will have no typical tax busy season and will be able to work remotely. Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Associate for Internal Partnership Tax Services, you will work closely with firm leadership to provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to Baker Tilly. Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships
- Conducting tax research and drafting IRS responses
- Collaborating with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation
- Developing recommendations and strategies for complex tax matters
- Communicating and teaming with specialty tax practices in state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas
- Learning and growing through on-the-job coaching and mentoring, as well as firm-wide learning and development programs
- Utilizing entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally
- Supporting the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy
- Enjoying work-life balance through friendships, social activities, and team outings

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this role will have:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business field
- Sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state being considered
- CPA license preferred
- 1+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm
- Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Leadership, project management, organizational, analytical, and adaptability skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

For California, Colorado, New York, and Washington, the compensation range for this role is $61,070 to $105,480. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and location. This role is eligible for bonus and benefits.
