Responsibilities: As an Experienced Associate for Internal Partnership Tax Services, you will work closely with firm leadership to provide federal tax compliance and consulting services to Baker Tilly. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships - Conducting tax research and drafting IRS responses - Collaborating with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation - Developing recommendations and strategies for complex tax matters - Communicating and teaming with specialty tax practices in state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas - Learning and growing through on-the-job coaching and mentoring, as well as firm-wide learning and development programs - Utilizing entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally - Supporting the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy - Enjoying work-life balance through friendships, social activities, and team outings Qualifications: Successful candidates for this role will have: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related business field - Sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state being considered - CPA license preferred - 1+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm - Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and problem-solving - Leadership, project management, organizational, analytical, and adaptability skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Additional Information: For California, Colorado, New York, and Washington, the compensation range for this role is $61,070 to $105,480.
