We are looking for an experienced Insurance Tax Manager to join our team in the United States. This is a full-time position with up to 20% travel requirements. The job ID for this role is 525299WD.

As an Insurance Tax Manager, you will be responsible for helping our clients in the financial services industry meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. This includes advising clients on local and overseas tax affairs, serving as a strategic consultant for business analysis, managing working capital, and providing guidance on tax implications of deals. You will also assist organisations in understanding the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties, as well as providing advice on tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions.

As a Manager, you will work with a team of problem solvers to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This includes developing new skills outside of your comfort zone, resolving issues that prevent the team from working effectively, coaching others, and recognising their strengths. You will also analyse complex ideas and proposals, use multiple sources of information to develop recommendations, and address sub-standard work. In addition, you will be expected to uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of experience. You must also have a CPA or be a member of the Bar. A Master's degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of tax issues affecting the domestic and/or international insurance industries, as well as public accounting practices, internal domestic insurance tax departments, or internal foreign insurance departments. They should also have comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance.

We are looking for someone who has experience identifying and addressing client needs, building and maintaining client relationships, communicating value propositions, managing resources and budgets, and preparing complex written and verbal materials. As a team leader, you should be able to supervise teams, seek diverse views, and coach staff. We also prefer someone with knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment, as well as experience with alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies.
