## Insurance Tax Manager

**Overview:**
PwC is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Tax Manager to join our Financial Services Tax practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping our clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business, and advising on local and overseas tax affairs.

**Responsibilities:**
- Act as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners
- Provide advice on tax implications of deals
- Help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties
- Navigate the changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing
- Help clients with their tax structuring
- Address the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making
- Develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients
- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties
- Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
- Provide value through digitization, automation and increased efficiencies

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting

- 4+ years of experience
- Thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting either the domestic and/or international insurance industries
- Thorough knowledge of public accounting practices, internal domestic insurance tax departments or internal foreign insurance departments
- Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance
- Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor
- Knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment
- Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools, to provide a point of view on pricing strategies

**Salary and Benefits:**
