Position Summary:
Holland & Hart, a leading law firm in the IP practice area, is looking for an experienced Privacy & Data Security Associate to join our team in Denver or Boulder. This position offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients and gain valuable experience in the privacy and cybersecurity space.

Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on consumer privacy matters
• Stay updated on evolving privacy laws and regulations
• Draft and review privacy notices and policies
• Assist in the development of privacy compliance programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals

Candidate Requirements:
• Demonstrated knowledge of technical aspects of privacy laws
• Excellent communication, analytical, and research skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• At least one IAPP certification

Ideal Candidate:
• 3-8 years of experience in privacy and cybersecurity
• Experience counseling clients and drafting relevant documentation
• Familiarity with data breach investigations and data mapping exercises
• Ability to think creatively and outside the box

Compensation:
• Merit-based evaluation and salary
• Range for this position (if based in Colorado): $190,000 - $255,000

Expectations:
• 1800 hours on billable matters
• 75 hours of pro bono/public service work
• 25 hours dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion
