The Matian Firm, APC is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney for our Post Conviction Relief team. This is an excellent opportunity for an admitted attorney to gain valuable experience in both criminal and immigration law while working with a highly respected law firm in the Southern California area. As the Post Conviction Relief Attorney, you will report to the Supervising Attorney and have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on their legal rights and draft necessary legal documents
- Manage post conviction relief cases, including motions to vacate, expungements, and early termination of probation
- Attend motion hearings and provide strategic advice to clients
- Handle open criminal cases, including arraignments, pre-trials, and sentencing
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis for clients
- Manage workload of cases and ensure efficient and effective representation for clients

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in criminal defense or immigration law
- Familiarity with state and local criminal court procedures
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary Information:

- Pay Range: $80,000 to $100,000 annual salary
- Opportunity for pay increase based on experience and performance
