Position Details:

Responsibilities:

- Advise multinational enterprises on business decisions and tax planning strategies, taking into account tax risk profile, global effective tax rate, and cash posture
- Structure tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, dispositions, and IPOs and provide tax opinions, memos, and Excel models
- Prepare tax provision for financial statements and assist with compliance work product
- Advise on income tax treaty planning opportunities for cross-border investing and trading activities
- Provide tax services to alternative investment companies at all stages of the investment life cycle

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree required; Masters in Taxation, JD, or LLM preferred
- Strong knowledge of international and domestic tax law provisions
- Excellent research and writing skills, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead multiple engagements, supervise and train staff, and maintain professionalism and client service
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to expand the firm's presence in local and global markets
