The AVP, Product Development Attorney will work remotely in a hybrid working setup with a full-time schedule. This individual will be responsible for drafting and reviewing insurance policy language for AINA business units, specifically in professional liability, cyber, and related products. They will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should have 3-5+ years of experience in commercial insurance contract drafting, a strong understanding of insurance coverages and marketplace, and a . degree. They should also be a member of a state bar in good standing.

Responsibilities:

- Draft and review policy language and conduct coverage analysis
- Provide legal advice and subject matter expertise to underwriters, staff, and colleagues
- Collaborate with various departments to prepare form-related materials for filing with state Departments of Insurance
- Monitor case law, regulatory changes, and market impact on forms language for assigned Lines of Business

Education and Experience:

- 3-5+ years of commercial insurance contract drafting experience
- Strong understanding of professional liability, cyber, and related insurance coverages and marketplace
- . degree and member of a state bar in good standing

Salary Information:

- Base salary range for individuals working in California, Colorado, Jersey City, NJ, New York State, and/or Washington State: $130,000 - $175,000/year
