## Workers Compensation Attorney - Ventura County

Law Firm is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Attorney to join their Ventura County office. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for all aspects of the workers’ compensation case, including evaluating the merits of the case, providing guidance and counsel to the clients through effective communication, medical review, and negotiating, settling and litigating cases, if necessary.

### Job Description

The Workers Compensation Attorney will provide high-quality representation for our premier client base of insurance carriers, third-party administrators and self-insured employers. The successful candidate will manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity and will be expected to:

* Create litigation plans.
* Create budget plans, if necessary.
* Conduct discovery.
* Travel to court and other appearances.
* Try cases while maintaining exceptional client interaction.
* Compose motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
* Prepare cases for trial.
* Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties to effectively represent clients.
* Possess strong negotiation and communication skills.

### Qualifications

* JD degree from an accredited law school.
* Must be an active member in good standing with the California State Bar.
