This is a full-time position located in San Francisco, with hybrid and remote options available.

As a Corporate Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and guidance to the organization, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting and challenging projects, including renewable energy facilities, M&A transactions, and compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice and oversight on a wide range of issues facing the company
- Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, including NDAs, LOIs, and master service agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and risk management
- Work on legal aspects of transactional matters with business partners
- Help shape the company's policies and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations
- Facilitate and support Brightmark's growth and expansion

Requirements:

- 4+ years of related legal experience, preferably in a law firm setting
- . from a . ABA accredited law school and active license to practice law
- Experience negotiating commercial transactions in the power, renewable energy, natural gas, or utility space
- Knowledge of project finance transactions
- Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Curious, creative, and flexible mindset
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Comfortable working in an egalitarian, entrepreneurial environment

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary range of $210,000-$220,000 per year
