Holland & Hart, a full-service law firm with over 500 lawyers in 13 offices, is seeking a mid-senior level tax associate to join its growing tax practice group in Denver or Salt Lake City. This position offers the opportunity to advise clients on a broad range of tax matters, including corporate, partnership, and individual income tax matters in the context of transactions.

Position Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax law
• Experience with a broad range of tax matters, particularly in tax credit transactions
• Willingness to assist in sophisticated tax controversy matters
• Strong academic background and exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to proactively anticipate and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Aptitude to work in a team environment
• Excellent legal research, verbal communication, and writing skills
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a high-stress environment
• LLM is a plus

Compensation and Expectations:
• Merit-based compensation, evaluated on individual performance and contributions to the team
• Salary range (if based in Colorado): $210,000 - $300,000, in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act
• Generous bonus program and potential for fee splits
• Expected to invest 1800 hours on billable matters, 75 hours of pro bono/public service work, and 25 hours dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Involvement in firm committees and activities encouraged for collective success
