The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in counseling clients on matters related to government contracts, compliance with statutes, regulations, and contract clauses, and a strong academic background.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on various statutes, cases, rules, regulations, contract clauses, and compliance procedures related to government contracts, whether at the prime or subcontract level.
• Ensure that clients are in compliance with government contract requirements at tribal, municipal, state, or federal levels.
• Collaborate with clients to navigate the complexities of government contracting and related legal matters.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide well-informed legal advice.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in government contracts and compliance.
• In-depth understanding of statutes, cases, rules, regulations, and contract clauses governing government contracts.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Comparable law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the District of Columbia Bar or eligibility for prompt admission.
