Duties:

  • Collaborate closely with attorneys in the energy and natural resources strategic business unit.
  • Manage wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
  • Lead and oversee scopes of work within a team, including managing junior attorneys.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice and support.
  • Participate in negotiations and due diligence processes for renewable energy projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in renewable energy real estate.
  • Extensive experience with wind, solar, and/or battery storage real estate transactions.
  • Exceptional academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Active NE Bar license or commitment to obtaining one on time.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to community involvement and sustainability initiatives.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active NE Bar license or commitment to obtaining one promptly.
