## Partner Tax Preparation Advisors Tax Manager ### Job Overview The Partner Tax Preparation Advisors (PTPA) team is a national team of dedicated tax professionals who serve as trusted advisors to provide tax compliance and tax planning guidance to the owners of PwC, both Partners and Principals, across the US. As a Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. ### Responsibilities As a Manager, you will be responsible for leading teams to create an atmosphere of trust, building and maintaining robust client relationships at the executive level, and simplifying complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Developing new skills outside of comfort zone - Acting to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively - Coaching others, recognizing their strengths, and encouraging them to take ownership of their personal development - Analyzing complex ideas or proposals and building a range of meaningful recommendations - Using multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations - Addressing sub-standard work or work that does not meet firm's/client's expectations - Using data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making - Developing a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients - Managing a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties - Simplifying complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points - Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct ### Requirements and Preferences Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance - 4 years of experience - Certification as CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar Preferred Qualifications: - Master Degree - Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader ### Salary For positions based in California, Colorado, Nevada, New York State, or Washington State, please visit the following link for pay range information: ### How to Apply To apply for this position, please visit the following link:
