Universal Orlando Resort is seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Legal and Business Affairs to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing legal aspects of domestic and international commercial matters, providing guidance and advice for UDX operations, and overseeing a team of attorneys and support staff.

As part of our commitment to in-person collaboration, this role will require a minimum of three days per week in the workplace, with some remote opportunities available within specific departments. You will also have the opportunity to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally, including Asia.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing complex commercial and real estate transactions, advising on corporate transactions, and providing oversight for corporate compliance. You will also be responsible for strategic planning, managing special projects, and providing general legal advice to Senior Management.

To be successful in this role, you must have a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree and at least 10 years of experience in commercial and real estate transactions. Experience with land use, planning, and real estate development is preferred. You must also be a member of a State Bar, with preference given to Florida, California, Texas, or Nevada.

As the Senior Director, you will lead a team of attorneys and support staff, allocate and supervise work, and manage outside counsel. Your strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as internet and web-based training tools, will be essential in this role.
